Dexter 3 months

This little guy had to be one of the most calm babies I've photographed. The little guy just did as he was told and loved to follow me around with his eyes. This is my favorite image from the session.

You know some funny things happen on the way and at these photo shoots I do. This last time involved a dog (pudge) that made it's way into my clients house when they opened the door for me. The Rosso's home happens to be a very "dog" friendly and they didn't say anything when the dog came in. I didn't think anything of it because I thought the dog was one of theirs. So while every one is getting ready, the dog is running around playing with the kids and jumping all over them. I wasn't paying any attention to it because I thought that's what their crazy dog does.

I head outside to scope out the scene to see what I have to work with. I decied to use an orchard down at the bottom of the hill that I passed up on the way in. I deliver the news and we all get ready to pile on into the RV. As I go to grab my camera bag I notice their dog doing the classic "I'm going to pee on your bag" dance. I quickly move the bag just as the leg goes up and say "no peeing on my bag today dog". At that moment my clients mom says something to the effect of what my dogs name was and I said " I dont have a dog".

Come to find out the dog isn't their's and it's been running around their house jumping all over the kids like a wild monkey. Ahhh good times, we had a good laugh afterwords. Here's a few images from the day minus the random dog.

Bayarea: Family portait photographer

Tarasco Fam bam is a little family that is only getting bigger. They are expecting thier new addition in about 4 months and before the new little one comes. They thought they should finally get some family photos done. This was a fun little session with some funny posses (not my idea) and a very funny ending (little hard to explain). But anyways here are a few from that session.

Family photo session!

This is the BLOG...Blog, blog, blog. Boy this thing is a lot of work to keep up to date. Hence the reason why I'm posting photos from the weekend (5 days ago) :p.

The Mah Fam bam are awesome people. They remind me a lot of my own family with two boys about 2 1/2 years apart. The youngest is a little monster and the oldest is a very good negotiator. For this photo shoot I had the chance to do something different and was able to include props and also a new technique to work with the kids. All I can really say is I'm very happy with the results.

This was the first family session of the fall and boy did it feel good to have something other than a wedding. Not that I don't love wedding because I do, it's just nice to have a change in the routine. We did this session at the a home with a great looking yard out in the county of Gilroy.

The Marcucci and Rossi families are good people! Very down to earth and with kids that just love to have fun. Funny thing was I found out I worked in the same building with one of them (small world) : ) Always with no further delay here are some images from that day.

The Hardy family are very cool people. This photo session was a little bit different than the others because the main focus was on the grandkids. Here are a few from that cold morning...
