And we are back online! It took longer than expected but we are back and running at 100%. will be going through a 2011 make over so don’t be surprised to see some new and different images up in the next few days.
But boy has February been one crazy month, it had to be by far one of the mot difficult times I've had in quite some years. I'll provide a few highlights like my credit card info being stolen, finding out my domain name . . was purchased by somone in India, vacation in Tahoe, my birthday (Good ol 27), Computer meltdown the day I get back from vacation, purchasing a newer/ better computer, finding out my grandmother had passed (this hit me really hard for she was such a big part of my life), redoing the 3 weeks of work I lost during the computer meltdown and finally TAXES (I'm sure you all love them just as much as I do)!!!
That right there is what my life has been like this past month. It's time to turn the page and get going again.
JGIphotography.com UPDATE!!!
No I haven't gone M.I.A or A-wall. Yes I do know the main website "jgiphotography.com" is currently off line. What happened you ask?
Well somehow my bank info was stolen and some really nice person in Italy decided they would use my money to purchase things ranging from electronics to clothes. This was a pretty generous thing to do but I found out the purchases weren't for me.
Luckily Bank of America caught the strange activity and put a stop to it. However this froze my account causing ALL my auto pays to get declined (including the renewal of my domain name jgiphotography.com). So since the payment didn't go through and I didn't contact the domain company in time. They are now holding it (jgiphotography.com) Ransom for the amount of $87 plus fees (crazy). Mind you the annual renew of the name cost all of $12, so yes I'm a little mad right now. Jgiphotogrpahy.com will be back up and running in the next few days.

Engagement Session in Santa Cruz Ca: America & Co.
Man down, man down!!! Actually it should be something more like women down because Nic (aka my fiance) was in no condition to help out on this photo shoot. While she did make the trip to Santa Cruz, the tripod would have to take her place while she rested in the truck :(
America & Chris were referred to me from a friend that I use to ride motorcycles with a few year back (dont worry I dont ride anymore). But from our first meeting to the day of their photo shoot I knew they were awesome people (as all my clients are). The photo shoot consisted of two shoots at one time really. One was their engagement session and the other was a family session. While there were some challange with the amount of people at the beach that day, I think it worked out pretty well.
There are a few teaser from their session at the Beach Boardwalk in Santa Cruz.

Hollister Wedding Photographer: Rosie & Rich
The last wedding of 2010 :( There is no other way I would have wanted it to end than with Rich and Rosie's wedding. These two are some awesome people that just love to be in the moment.
Their wedding was at San Juan Oaks golf course and had pumpkins all over the place (it was the day before Halloween). Not only were the Pumpkins but a little bit of light saber action as well lol. Their story is one that made me smile but also realize that when people find "the one" there is no limit to what they would do for one another.
