Northern California Wedding

And 1,013 miles later we are back home. Our most recent wedding took us back to our hometown of Gilroy, Ca (yes the place that smell like Garlic). But what was even cooler than going back home was being asked to photograph our friends wedding. Where even more of our friends would be attending. It was a recipe for a great time and that it was.

Richard & Maricela go back all the way to being high school sweethearts, you never see one without the other. Just two amazing friendly people that tied the knot some 15 years later. They had an amazing wedding day that started at Saint Mary's Church in Gilroy, then a beautiful reception that took place at Rancho Canada in Carmel, Ca. You really couldn't ask for a better day.

I really can't explain how honored I am when people ask me to photograph their special day but when it's a personal friend it adds a little more to it. I hope you enjoy the teasers from Richard & Maricela's big day.

This wedding was an absolute BLAST!!! It may have been a small event but man was it fun. Very classic, basic backyard (well actually front yard) wedding, setup with lots of help from family and friends. Congrats to Karrie and Brian.
