Update: WE DID IT!!!

Thank you to everyone that were able to donate and spread the word. We hit the goal and will be picking up an IPAD soon for Joey. I will be updating the blog with a pix maybe even video.

Help Joey get back his IPAD.

I’m asking for everyone’s help on this, so please if you can donate or share this story it would be much help.

I have an EXTREMELY close family friend with a 7 year old boy that suffers from Autism. His IPAD was recently left behind at a Gilroy restaurant. When then mom when back to get it, it was gone. The staff didn’t have any answers to the where it was, so by now it’s probably someone else’s. This is so very important to him and his development (not used as a toy, but they are great for child suffering from Autism, and recommended by doctors and psychologists).

Please if you can donate even $1 or spread the word that would be a huge help. All the money raised will be going to the purchase of a new IPAD for Joey. Edit: Thanks to those that brought it up. No, you don't need a payapal account to donate.

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for the donations and the emails of support. WE HIT OUR GOAL FOR JOEY TO GET HIS IPAD!!!

Thank You

Top secret session, yes you read it right! So top secrect all messages had to be deleted right after transmission, phone numbers had to be blocked and the location was shut down for this phoot shoot to happen. That's how JGI photography does it!!!

Ok so maybe I was exaggerating a bit but I will tell you this photo session was top secret and was put together within 6 hours. Not only that the identity's of these people can not be revealed untill the higher ups approve it. Until that happens this is all you get!

You know some funny things happen on the way and at these photo shoots I do. This last time involved a dog (pudge) that made it's way into my clients house when they opened the door for me. The Rosso's home happens to be a very "dog" friendly and they didn't say anything when the dog came in. I didn't think anything of it because I thought the dog was one of theirs. So while every one is getting ready, the dog is running around playing with the kids and jumping all over them. I wasn't paying any attention to it because I thought that's what their crazy dog does.

I head outside to scope out the scene to see what I have to work with. I decied to use an orchard down at the bottom of the hill that I passed up on the way in. I deliver the news and we all get ready to pile on into the RV. As I go to grab my camera bag I notice their dog doing the classic "I'm going to pee on your bag" dance. I quickly move the bag just as the leg goes up and say "no peeing on my bag today dog". At that moment my clients mom says something to the effect of what my dogs name was and I said " I dont have a dog".

Come to find out the dog isn't their's and it's been running around their house jumping all over the kids like a wild monkey. Ahhh good times, we had a good laugh afterwords. Here's a few images from the day minus the random dog.

Bayarea: Family portait photographer

Tarasco Fam bam is a little family that is only getting bigger. They are expecting thier new addition in about 4 months and before the new little one comes. They thought they should finally get some family photos done. This was a fun little session with some funny posses (not my idea) and a very funny ending (little hard to explain). But anyways here are a few from that session.

Family photo session!

This is the BLOG...Blog, blog, blog. Boy this thing is a lot of work to keep up to date. Hence the reason why I'm posting photos from the weekend (5 days ago) :p.

The Mah Fam bam are awesome people. They remind me a lot of my own family with two boys about 2 1/2 years apart. The youngest is a little monster and the oldest is a very good negotiator. For this photo shoot I had the chance to do something different and was able to include props and also a new technique to work with the kids. All I can really say is I'm very happy with the results.

There is nothing like starting your own little fam bam. But to really see a child grow in pictures is simply amazing! I'm glad since my kids were welcomed into this world I have taking pictures of them at least once a week just doing the things they do. In turn I love taking these pictures for my clients.

Adam and Heather a good friends of mine that welcomed their daughter into this crazy world just 3 months ago. We did the photo session in there home to make things easy for them because they had just moved. Here are some images from that day.

This was the first family session of the fall and boy did it feel good to have something other than a wedding. Not that I don't love wedding because I do, it's just nice to have a change in the routine. We did this session at the a home with a great looking yard out in the county of Gilroy.

The Marcucci and Rossi families are good people! Very down to earth and with kids that just love to have fun. Funny thing was I found out I worked in the same building with one of them (small world) : ) Always with no further delay here are some images from that day.

Destination wedding photographer

Andrea & Steve!

I can usaully count on doing at least one destination wedding a year. And boy do I love it because it allows me and my wife time away from the crazyness back at home even though we are still working. This time was a bit different for two reasons, one because the wife couldn't come so instead I brought my second shooter Tommy. Second because it was for a very close friend of mine. It got to the point where I was pretty nervous, probably more so than Andrea and Steve.

Anyways here are some/ a lot of teasers this time round.

BTW... There is a pretty sweet video at the end be sure to check it out!
